Paintings of El Greco, orthodox monastery and the green village Fodele!
First we visit the house where one of the most famous painters of the Renaissance, El Greco (Domenikos Theotokopoulos) was born. We will admire copies of his most important paintings and we will learn about his life and his work.
Next, at the monastery of St. Panteleimon, located in a landscape of wild beauty, we will admire the wondrous icon and a bone fragment of St. Panteleimon.
Our last stop will be the beautiful green village of Fodele, which is famous for its delicious oranges; we have time for a coffee, an orange juice and shopping in the local small shops.
