Elafonissi: The pink sand beach
EXPRESS*

We cross almost half of Crete with final destination its southwestern point, a small island called Elafonissi with unique pink sandy beaches.
Elafonissi is a place between an island and a peninsula and you have to walk through the sea to reach it. It’s a real paradise with aquamarine, crystal clear, shallow waters and numerous beaches with white and pink sand and tiny shells. It’s a virgin area protected by the European program “Natura 2000” and awarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
We stay there for four hours and you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing or walking along the exotic pink beaches and the dunes or strolling about the unique cedar forest.
An ideal destination also for children thanks to the shallow crystal waters.
Our bus passes through many picturesque traditional villages, it crosses gorges, a small tunnel, areas with olive trees, carob trees, chestnut trees, maple trees, wonderful landscapes.
At the port of Kissamos (Kastelli) we will have a short break for around 15 – 20 minutes and then we will continue our trip to Elafonissi.
Elafonissi: The perfect excursion for swimming and relaxing!
